Stephen Quadros

Stephen has been with us since 1995, and has an extensive background in a variety of martial arts including: Jet Center kickboxing, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Tae Kwon Do, Wing Tsun Kung Fu and Shotokan Karate. In addition to instructing incredible Executive Kickboxing and Boxing classes at BIM Pasadena, Stephen is an accomplished actor. You may recognize him from his appearances on CSI: Miami, Without A Trace and Walker Texas Ranger(where he was the guest lead with Chuck Norris in the season premier). Or from his Pepsi One commercial, opposite Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. Mr. Quadros appeared in "Cradle 2 The Grave" (Warner Bros) starring Jet Li and DMX as well as working as fight technical advisor on the film. Stephen also served as 2nd unit director and fight choreographer on "Pit Fighter" (20th Century Fox).
Stephen's classes tend to give students three things: 1) A killer workout. 2) Good martial arts technique. 3) A whole lot of fun! Stephen is a self-proclaimed goof-ball by nature and doesn't take himself too seriously. He loves to nurture his students, making each student feel wanted and that they belong in his class.
Stephen has been the editor of two national martial arts publications: "FightSport With Stephen Quadros" (which was published by Black Belt magazine) and The Kickboxing Ring Report. He is also known around the world for his role as host and lead commentator for the television and pay per view broadcasts of some of the world's largest and most successful fight shows including the "PRIDE Fighting Championships" and "K-1". It was during his first trip to Japan, while commentating at ringside on a K-1 event, where Stephen was nicknamed "THE FIGHT PROFESSOR".
