  Aria Mayland

Bio
Just over eight years ago, Deana Aria Mayland began taking Power Yoga with Bryan Kest. Soon after, she discovered Shiva Rea’s Prana Vinyasa Flow. To this day, these two are her greatest influences.

Yoga is a tremendous healing and challenging practice for Aria, one that has helped her overcome “permanent” physical limitations and chronic pain. Aria brings this energy of all things possible to her classes and encourages her students to cultivate their intuitive intelligence within.

Aria currently teaches at yoga studios, in the workplace, in an elementary school, and gives donation classes around town. She is grateful for the influence of all her favorite teachers-- Shiva Rea, Bryan Kest, Brad Keimach, Hala Khouri, Saul David Raye, and Ana Forrest. In addition to her strong flow background, Aria has also studied Iyengar, Sivinanda and Anusara, as well as Chi Gong, and Ecstatic Dance. She is a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance, and this summer, completed an additional 120 hours of advanced teacher training with Shiva Rea. Stylistically, Aria teaches a hybrid style of flow, combining the strength of Power Yoga, with the rhythmic pulsation of Prana Vinyasa Flow, and the injury awareness of Forrest Yoga.
