Nicole Steen

Nicole Steen, a native Angeleno, began dancing at the tender age of three and has danced competitively for all of her life. Nicole competed in national competitions for baton twirling, ballet, jazz, hip hop, cheer, and songleading. Nicole's love of fitness developed from the rigorous training she had to go through as a champion dancer and baton twirler. Nicole holds many titles such as Miss Majorette of
California, World Flag Champion, and World Pom Pon Champion just to name a few.
Nicole's dancing talents were recognized when she attended USC. She started off as a
majorette for the Trojan Marching Band and later became a World famous USC Songleader for three years. After ending her senior year as captain of the USC Songleaders, Nicole decided to take her dance to a professional level and has worked
in the film Love and Basketball, The Wayne Brady Show, Fox Sports Net, and many other tv appearances. Nicole is also featured in fitness videos such as Dancing off the Inches, and the Weight Watchers cardio series.
While attending USC, Nicole founded USC's hip hop fitness program in 2000. She later
began teaching other classes such as cardio kickboxing, sculpt, hi/lo, and step.
Nicole currently teaches as a dance director for a local high school and judges
cheerleading and dance competitions all over the country. She is an AFAA and ACE
certified instructor who loves to bring tons of energy to the classroom. My job is
to make you sweat.
