Yoga is what keeps us connected to life – it reminds us what it means to be alive. And the starting point is always the breath; deep, even breathing throughout the class with corresponding inhales and exhales for every pose.
As we begin to practice yoga on a regular basis, you will see more than just your physical body transform. Your thoughts will be more clear and balanced; your emotions less volatile; and then comes the spiritual aspect of the practice. At this point the practice becomes personal and profound.
I have practiced yoga since 1996 with some of Los Angeles’ foremost instructors including Jorgen Christiansson, who introduced me to Ashtanga yoga, and Seane Corn. More recently, I have studied Iyengar yoga with Lisa Walford.
I have also completed a 10-week teacher training intensive with Lisa Walford and Birgitte Kristen.
Yoga is my life passion that I am honored to share with willing students.
